THE HOURGLASS starts international life

In the frames of upcomming 49th Thessaloniki International Film Festival, THE HOURGLASS directed by Szabolcs Tolnai will be presented in the festival main programme - International Competition.

After receiving a number of awards in national festivals in Serbia and Hungary, we hope that international festival journey of THE HOURGLASS will also be succesfull.

WONGAR - LAST TAKE

After 2 weeks of principal photography, in Melbourne is just finished shooting of a documentary Wongar - White Aboriginal directed by Andrijana Stojkovic. The crew should be back in Serbia on Wednesday, 29th of October. With lot of material and lot of stories. More pictures

AGI AND EMMA IN AUSTRALIA

Agi and Emma was screened as Opening Film of 8th Serbian film festival in Sidney, Australia.
In sold-out theatre Cinema Paris in Sidney, with the presence of diplomatic core and Serbian Church representatives, Miroslav Mogorovic opened 8th edition of the oldest Serbian Film Festival outside Serbia. After Sydney, film will be screened at Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, where Serbian Film Festival also takes place.

LOVE AND OTHER CRIMES - BOX OFFICE NUMBER 1

After 4 weeks in the Serbian theatres, more than 25.000 spectators seen Love and Other Crimes. With this result, Love And Other Crimes was number one on Serbian box office in a 4 consecutive weeks.

WONGAR - START OF PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY

On 8th of October, small expedition left Belgrade for the shooting of the documentary WONGAR-WHITE ABORIGINAL: Andrijana Stojkovic (director), Miroslav Mogorovic (producer), Joao de Melo Ribeiro (Director of photography), Jelena Stankovic (executive producer).
Shooting will take place in Melbourne, Darwin, Mandora, Jabiru and Oempelli, until October 29th.



PREMIERE IN SAVA CENTRE

Serbian theatrical distribution of LOVE AND OTHER CRIMES starts on September 17th with premiere in Sava Centre.


THE EXHIBITION

Exhibition inspired by LOVE AND OTHER CRIMES opens on September 12th in Knez Mihajlova st. (ground floor of Robna Kuca Beograd and windows of Robna Kuca Mitic). The exhibition will offer stills from the film by Biljana Ristivojcevic, photo exhibition "Two idiots" by Simon Tansek and Volker Schafer, "Besame mucho" karaoke, artifacts from the movie and many interactive surprises.


WORLD PREMIERE

World premiere of UNIVERSALOVE will be on Toronto International Film Festival (September 4th - 13th). UNIVERSALOVE is music film by Thomas Woschitz, global love story set in Brooklyn, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Belgrade, Marseille and Luxembourg.


FESTIVAL LIFE

LOVE AND OTHER CRIMES continues busy festival life. In October you can catch it in Kaunas (opening film), Warsaw, Haifa, Ghent, Portoroz and Osnabrueck.


APRIL IN BELGRADE

Musical project APRIL IN BELGRADE by Bojan Vuletic got the support both by Serbian Film Centre and City of Belgrade. The shooting is scheduled for spring 2009.
